AFL-CIO Official to Attend Seacoast Canvass

AFL-CIO Secretary-Treasurer Liz Shuler will hold rally on Sunday afternoon.

AFL-CIO Secretary-Treasurer Liz Shuler will join over 50 New Hampshire workers for a canvass on the Seacoast on October 21st. The highest-ranking woman in the labor movement, Shuler will deliver remarks to workers preparing to canvass in Rye, Stratham, Hampton and North Hampton before going door to door for President Obama, Maggie Hassan, and State Senate candidate Bev Hollingworth.

The AFL-CIO Labor 2012 program is the broadest and most sophisticated effort to date to elect working family candidates at all levels of government from the White House to local offices. Working families across the country are reaching out in their communities to talk about issues that matter to working people this election and the candidates who will stand up for ordinary, hard-working Americans.
