Allenstown Woman Charged with Credit Card Fraud

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Thursday, March 1 through Sunday, March 4.

Thursday:

• At 9:59 a.m., police reported a burglary on Lafayette Road after the caller said someone broke into the trailers and took some tires and rims.
• At 4:44 p.m., police reported a burglary on Market Street after the caller said someone attempted to break into a building with a crowbar.

Friday:

• At 11:41 a.m. police reported a burglary on Gosport Road after the caller said some cash from their home office was taken.
• At 11:59 a.m., police reported a theft on Lafayette Road after the caller said some tires and other items were moved to the other side of a fence as if they were going to be picked up.
• At 12:30 p.m., police reported an animal call on Lafayette Road after the caller said she saw a mangy coyote on her back porch before the animal wandered off.
• At 3:11 p.m., police reported a theft of a brand new Dell laptop valued at $1,400 from a business on New Hampshire Avenue.
• At 7:53 p.m., police arrested an Allenstown woman who was wanted as a fugitive from justice after she turned herself in at the police station. Jessica Lyn Emerson, 30, of 4 Lentendre Ave., in Allenstown was wanted for fraudulent use of a credit card.

Saturday:

• At 12:54 a.m., police arrested a Portsmouth woman for drunken driving on the Route 1 Bypass south bound. Sarah E. Willey, 25, of 110 Leslie Drive in Portsmouth was charged with driving while intoxicated.
• At 5:38 a.m., police reported a theft of cash and a credit card on Woodbury Avenue.

Sunday:

• At 1:07 a.m., police arrested a Portsmouth woman for drunken driving on Cabot and Austin streets. Christina A. Regan, 23, of 226 Union St. in Portsmouth was charged with driving while intoxicated.
