Fred Karger to Campaign on Middle Street

GOP presidential candidate plans door-to-door campaigning in Portsmouth on Saturday.

Republican presidential candidate Fred Karger will return to Portsmouth on Saturday for a precinct walk. He plans to go door-to-door with supporters, giving away Fred Frisbees and talking to voters.

According to a press release, he'll also be "serenaded by incredible bagpipe music all the way," so it shouldn't be hard to hear him coming.

Kevin Miniter, a spokesman for Karger's campaign, said Thursday afternoon that the candidate will be meeting up with supporters at 499 Middle St. at 11 a.m. Saturday, and he will walk the neighborhood from there, introducing himself to voters.
