Fuller Clark Wins State Senate 21 Seat

Portsmouth Democrat Martha Fuller Clark defeats Republican candidate Peter MacDonald of Lee in convincing fashion.

Martha Fuller Clark wanted to return to the State Senate after she lost her seat in 2010 and when the newly created State Senate District 21 was created following redistricting, she saw her opportunity.

Following months of rigorous campaigning, Fuller Clark fended off a strong challenge from Republican candidate Peter MacDonald of Lee to go back to Concord.

Officials results in the district communities of Newfields, Lee, Durham, Madbury and Newfields show that Fuller Clark defeated MacDonald in each of those towns. She only lost Newington to MacDonald.
