Justice Scalia Calls for Change in Law Schools

U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia tells audience at Wentworth by the Sea Hotel more core legal classes need to be taught.

U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia believes the nation's law schools need to adjust their curriculum to focus more on core legal classes and offer students less non-law related classes.

Foster's Daily Democrat reported that Scalia was the keynote speaker at the University of New Hampshire School of Law annual dinner held this weekend at the Wentworth by the Sea Hotel in New Castle. According to the newspaper, Scalia, the longest serving member of the nation's High Court, said more law professors need to have more experience in practicing law before they enter the classroom.
