Personal: I am a husband and father. I married my high school sweetheart, Karen, twenty-nine years ago this October. We have two children - Lauren twenty-seven, and Brian twenty-five. I enjoy hiking, listening to great live music, meeting interesting people, sampling high-brow ales, and eating at Portsmouth's great restaurants.

Priorities: Why are you running? I am running for New Hampshire State Representative because I am optimistic that with independent leadership and a common sense vision, we can build a more neighborly New Hampshire, a more enlightened America, and a more peaceful world.  America is in trouble. We need to reverse course if we are to restore liberty and the sense of community that made our communities fertile ground for raising happy, healthy, and productive people. I wish to participate with others to deconstruct the bad and restore the good. I will be a champion for the Portsmouth-based small businesses, retailers, arts organizations, civic nonprofits, and restaurants that make Portsmouth one of the best places to live in America. I wish to engage in an honest and respectful campaign that would make my parents proud of me.

Thank you.
