Personal: Born and raised in York, Maine. My father practiced law in Portsmouth, NH until his untimely death in 1962 due to an accident on our farm. Priorities for New Hampshire and your view of the State Senate role in state government: My priorities for New Hampshire are to 1) to maintain and enhance the quality of life for all New Hampshire citizens, 2) to ensure that NH offers an excellent and affordable public education to all so that we will have a highly educated workforce and a strong economic base with well paying jobs throughout the state and 3) to protect individual freedom and equal rights for all.

Why are you running? I am running because I believe the right wing extremists in our legislature are destroying the state we know and love.  I hope to return to Concord, where I am known for my bipartisanship and effectiveness as a leader, in order to restore balance and reason to our government.  I promise to work co-operatively and vote for the best interests of our people, not for an agenda of radical ideology.
