1. Allegiant in Portsmouth. The budget airline Allegiant, which was scheduled to return to the Portsmouth International Airport at Pease last month after a 6-year absence, is now set to launch its first flights there on Nov. 8, according to a spokesman. Allegiant previously delayed the launch of the Pease flights, blaming it on the government shutdown.
2. Weekend weather. It will be sunny Saturday, with a high of 59 degrees and a low of 47. Sunday will be rainy, with a high of 48 and a low of 27.
