UNH Alum Makes One Very Funny Movie

OK, so it may not have won any awards, but the best movie I saw on Thursday was "Twenty Million People" an anti-romantic comedy that's co-produced and edited by Chris Prine, who also stars in the film.

Prine's a local guy, having grown up in Amherst and attended the University of New Hampshire.

It's a really funny film, full of all kinds of great one-liners. One of those movies that keeps you laughing throughout instead of waiting for the laugh lines.

What I loved most about it is that it's basically a romantic comedy that makes fun of the terrible, cliche romantic comedies churned out by the big movie studios.

Really a fun, smart movie. If you missed it, it's playing again at 10:15 a.m. on Sunday at the Music Hall Loft. Go check it out.
