Bitcoin is a worldwide digital currency that has been in the news a lot lately. Come learn about what it is beyond the headlines about Silk Road and Mt. Gox.

Find out how to acquire it, how to spend it, or even accept it at your business. The evening at the Historic Theater consists of a networking hour, several micro-talk presentations about Bitcoin and an open discussion on its incredible rise in popularity and potential pitfalls.

This event is made possible by a collaboration of The Music Hall, NH TweetUpAlpha LoftPao Café Freecoast and The Wire.

Special thanks to blockchain.info and The Wire for sponsoring the event. Thanks to them we will be able to give away centibits at the door to the first 100 people to walk in. We’ll also have folks on hand to help you set up a bitcoin wallet.

Topics:
What is bitcoin?
Where did bitcoin come from and is it legal?
How do I get bitcoin?
What do I do with it?
Bitcoin and the small business.
