Pavilion Progress at Prescott Park

Signs of spring, and another great season ahead at Prescott Park, are everywhere in Portsmouth.

Prescott Park's new pavilion will offer new and improved bathrooms, new food services and an enhanced entertainment experience, according to Prescott Park Arts Festival.

Prescott Park Arts Festival has raised over $1 million to fund construction and to make other improvements. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be by early summer.

The "Believe in Magic" capital campaign has a $1.3 million goal. Prescott Park Arts Festival Ben Anderson said in a press release last month that more than 30 local businesses had joined the "Campaign Corporate Club," with gifts ranging from $250 to $50,000. A link to donate to the campaign.

"I look forward to sharing the improved Park with all the Festival fans in the coming months," Anderson said in the press release. "We are so appreciative of the overwhelming community support."
