A New Movie Theater in Portsmouth?
The zoning board approved a variance that could clear the way.
A new movie theater could soon be on its way to Portsmouth, according to Seacoastonline.
The news website reported that the Board of Adjustment voted unanimously to grant a parking variance Tuesday that clears the way for a new theater at the Southgate Plaza on Route 1. The plaza currently houses Big Lots, McKinnon's, LaBella Restaurant, Shio and other retail businesses.
