First Allegiant Flights Out of Pease Rerouted

Allegiant would be the first passenger airline to operate out of Pease since 2008.

Allegiant, which was scheduled to start passenger airline service out of the Portsmouth International Airport at Pease on Friday, has rerouted those flights to Manchester-Boston Regional Airport.

The company sent an "urgent flight status message" to customers alerting them to change, according to WMUR-TV.

No notices about the change were posted on Allegiant's website or social media channels. A company spokesperson did not respond to an e-mail Monday.

Pease has been without a passenger airliner since 2008. Allegiant previously served Pease from 2005 to 2007.
