“Unfortunately, due to the extent of our renovations, the timing for the launch of LoMo coincided with the slower restaurant season in Portsmouth," Dumont said in a statement. "At this time, the number of customers in town is just not enough to sustain the business. However, we love the culinary culture of Portsmouth and have definite plans to keep our ambition for a locally sustained eatery alive.”
He said LoMo could "resurface."
"The new drive for farm-to-table restaurants is taking hold across the country," he said.
