New Hampshire Nonprofits Team up to help Seacoast Residents "Get Ready to Get Covered" in New Healthcare Marketplace Enrollment Fair THIS SATURDAY in PORTHSMOUTH

Portsmouth, NH -- Lower cost healthcare is on the way to New Hampshire Residents through the new health insurance Marketplace.

 

Planned Parenthood of Northern New England and the State Employees’  Association are co-hosting an enrollment fair on Saturday, November 9, 2013, from 10 am – 2 pm at Great Bay Community College, 320 Corporate Drive in Portsmouth, NH.

Expert healthcare Navigators will be on hand to help you enroll in the Marketplace and determine if you are eligible for tax credits that reduce your healthcare costs. When you complete your application, you’ll find out how much you can save.

Planned Parenthood of Northern New England (PPNNE) is an official Navigator organization. PPNNE will provide in-person health coverage enrollment assistance and outreach activities to thousands of New Hampshire residents. Last year, PPNNE served nearly 16,000 patients in six health centers located across New Hampshire in Claremont, Derry, Exeter, Keene, Manchester and West Lebanon and provides a comprehensive range of reproductive health services, as well as limited primary care. PPNNE is an essential community provider, dedicated to improving access to quality health care and will continue to play a key role in increasing access to health insurance.

The State Employees’ Association of New Hampshire represents about 11,000 public and private-sector employees across the Granite State.  First formed in 1940 as a social organization, the SEA won passage of New Hampshire’s Public Employee Labor Relations Law in 1975.  Since then, the union has negotiated hundreds of contracts with state, county, municipal and private-sector employers.  The SEA affiliated with the Service Employees’ International Union in 1984.  With 2.1 million members, SEIU is the fastest-growing union in the Americas.
