Share a Ride with East West Express

Ground transportation between Portsmouth and Manchester is more convenient than ever now that East West Express offers an easy way to link the two cities with hourly shared rides.  The service is proudly operated by Flight Line, Inc. a company with over 30 years in the private airport shuttle business.  This new route began carrying passengers before the holidays and has continued to grow steadily over the winter months by doubling its ridership, and hopes to double that number again by the end of April.  “We are so pleased to be able to tell people at the NH Info Booth at Manchester-Boston Regional Airport that we now have a convenient way to get to Portsmouth!”  Judi Window, NH Granite State Ambassadors.    

Portsmouth area and Epping residents also have an easy and affordable way to get to Manchester.  East West Express thanks its passengers who have already joined the shared ride experience and they are gearing up for a busy spring travel season. The service runs like a charm, but the biggest hurdle is informing more people that this hourly service exists.  “We are counting on assistance from residents to help get the word out to friends and neighbors.  The public needed and wanted affordable transportation along the Route 101 East/West corridor and so this is not ‘our baby” it is for the public.  We are pleased to be selected to get the ball rolling thanks to a federal grant, and the service will continue long-term if we can increase ridership.”  Jamie Dowd, President of East West Express and Flight Line. Parking is free at the Portsmouth Transportation Center and Epping locations.  East West Express also sweeps through Manchester’s the Canal Street downtown bus station every two hours.
