The Seacoast Educational Endowment for Dover Announces Online Auction

Dover, NH, April 21, 2014 – The Seacoast Educational Endowment for Dover (“SEED”), a non-profit organization that promotes academic excellence by providing innovation grants to Dover educators, is pleased to announce its Innovation in Bloom online auction and fundraiser is scheduled to begin on May 2, 2014.  This interactive fundraiser, live for only two weeks, will auction off fun and unique items to raise money to fund grant awards to Dover teachers for innovative programs, practices, and resources.

            The online auction has an assortment of items ranging from Boston Red Sox tickets to one full year of monthly dinner dates at Margaritas Mexican Restaurant, to restaurant, spa, and retail gift cards. The auction also features several highly unique experiences, such as an African safari, a private sail to the Isles of Shoals, an opportunity to tour and ride on a Dover fire truck, and a romantic dinner at the top of a Newburyport lighthouse. 

            “We are thrilled with the diversity of items that people have donated for this event,” said Beverly Shadley, Vice President SEED Board of Directors. “Start bookmarking favorites now for when the auction goes live. Don't miss out on this great event for a great cause!”

The fourteen day online auction is set to start at 8:00 am on Friday, May 2 and run through  Friday, May 16, 2014 ending promptly at 10:00pm.
