Doug and Stella Scamman Endorse Dan Innis

Dan Innis, Republican candidate for Congress in NH-01, announced today that Doug and Stella Scamman have endorsed his campaign for Congress. The Scammans are lifelong New Hampshire public servants and Republican activists.

Doug Scamman served 13 terms as a New Hampshire state representative, including 3 terms as speaker of the House. Stella Scamman served 3 terms in the New Hampshire House and is active with the Seacoast Republican Women.

The Scammans’ Bittersweet Farm in Stratham has hosted dozens of local and national Republican candidates over the years, including Mitt Romney’s formal announcement for president in 2011.

The Union Leader’s John DiStaso broke the news this morning. Story here: http://bit.ly/1lqKzuG

"Dan Innis is the new voice our Republican Party needs to win in November," Doug and Stella Scamman said.  "Dan has an outstanding record of accomplishment both as a small business owner and as head of the University of New Hampshire School of Business.  Dan is running a campaign focused on the issues Granite Staters care about.  We are proud to enthusiastically support Dan Innis for Congress, a solutions based Republican who will use his leadership abilities to work with all members of Congress to grow our economy and tackle the challenges we face."

Dan Innis said, “I am grateful to have earned the support of Doug and Stella Scamman. The Scammans represent the best of New Hampshire public service and I will listen closely to their wise counsel during my campaign and in Washington.”

Of course they do. Former N.H. U.S. Congressman Frank Guinta doesn't exactly inspire G.O.P. confidence. Might as well roll the dice with Mr. Innis instead.

We'll see who gets to enjoy the gloat-fest in November. I look forward to rubbing it in. The Obamacare bad news cycle is over. The percentage of Americans without health insurance has dropped. Whatcha gonna run on now?
