Get Your Ticket for Jan. 11 #RoguesExperience at Redhook Brewery

The hosts of the up-and-coming culinary adventure travel show, Rogues on the Road (ROTR), with a focus on local sustainability and education, will be holding an event, titled the #RoguesExperience, this January 11th from 7-10 p.m., at the Redhook Brewery, 1 Redhook Way. ROTR Matt Frohman, 41, and Richard Marshall, 38, will be hosting the event, featuring tastings from many local restaurants, with a finale viewing of the pilot episode of the show.

Tickets are $15. Click here for more info from the #RoguesExperience Facebook event page and a link to get tickets.

The tasting will include a secret ingredient (provided by UNH and Taylor Lobster) that each restaurant is preparing their own unique way. Some of the restaurants that will be participating in the tasting event are: the new Rosa, Martingale Wharf, The Portsmouth Gaslight, mambo, Seaport Fish, Flatbread Pizza, Book and Bar, The River House, Sonny's and possibly a few more.

Redhook is not only hosting the event, but in conjunction with ingredients provided by Taylor Lobster and Fat Dog Shell Fish Company, they have created a special “Black Lobstah” brew for patrons to purchase and enjoy with their samples. Frohman and Marshall traveled from Brewster, NY over a month ago to work alongside Redhook’s Master Brewers in the creation of the festive beer.

Frohman and Marshall filmed a 30-minute future episode of ROTR at Redhook, where they learned the ropes of brewing a lobster and oyster pilsner (see photos.)

Also making a special appearance, courtesy of Port City Nissan, will be a beautiful 2014 Nissan Rogue.

Decorating the evening with his vocal stylings will be local musician Joe Young.
