"Water, Wood & Wind: Regional Craft on the Piscataqua" Exhibition!

This summer Wentworth Lear Historic Houses invites you to come aboard and view "Water, Wood & Wind: Regional Craft on the Piscataqua," an exhibition that focuses on the history and construction of watercraft specific to the Piscataqua.

The exhibit pulls together boats, images, models, schematics, artifacts, and artistic renderings of some of the indigenous small craft that populated the Piscataqua, including: the Piscataqua Wherry, the Whitehall Rowboat, the Gundalow, and the Merry Mac sailboat.

The exhibition is on view Thursday through Monday from 11-4 until September 5. Admission prices are $6.00 for adults, and $3.00 for children, and include admission to the houses.
