Book Sale- Friends of South Berwick Library

An Open House celebrating the Friends of South Berwick Library surpassing the half-way mark in its $1 million capital campaign will be held in conjunction with the Annual Book Sale on Saturday, June 9, from 9am-1pm at the new Library on Young Street.

The Open House, to be held in the Great Hall, is an opportunity for the public to view the ongoing transformation of the former church sanctuary into library space.

Library Director Karen Eger noted that this is the first year the Friends’ popular book sale, which supports the purchase of books, equipment and programs for the Library, can be scheduled “rain or shine.”

Volunteers are needed for Friday night and Saturday during the Sale. Friday night we will be bringing the books up from the basement and therefore will require some heavy listing. To sign-up to volunteer, please follow this link- http://www.volunteerspot.com/login/entry/772345632254718028

As always, the money raised at the Book Sale goes to supporting the Library with books, equipment, and programs.
