Downtown Portsmouth Christmas Tree Goes Up
The tree will be lit during a ceremony Dec. 7.
Crews on Monday installed the city's downtown Christmas tree in Market Square.
The 35-foot white spruce was donated by local resident Jack Hartman. Dover-based Badger Rand Company, Inc. donated its crane to erect it.
The tree will be illuminated during the annual holiday parade Sat., Dec. 7. Find more information about the parade here.
