Former Teacher Dies at 81
Mary C. Baker, 81, of Portsmouth, died Sept. 17 at the Edgewood Center.
Baker was a 13-year resident of Portsmouth. She worked as a teacher at Lockwood High School until she married her late husband, William R. Baker, according to her obituary.
Baker was an amateur painter and artist.
"She loved her four children, and found great joy in each of her nine grandchildren," her obituary reads.
