Seacoast Republican Women celebrated "Wear Red For Heart Day" in support of the New Hampshire Heart Association's campaign, "Go Red For Heart" by wearing red at their first 2014 board meeting and breakfast event in January. SRW's Caring For America Committee chose the association for their first charitable fundraiser for 2014 to bring attention to the number one killer of women. Much needed funds help support research and education for heart disease, often called the silent killer because women don't notice symptoms until it's too late. Participants received a red dress pin to wear on February 7th for the 11th annual national "Wear Red For Heart Day".
