One year and a day? And we sentence people who steal much smaller amounts, whether paid back or not, to much longer? How about sentencing bank officials who have stolen, truly stolen, thousands upon thousands of homes under false pretenses? Something is very wrong here, and some people are treated so very differently than others. Is there an abomination going on, or am I living in a different United States today?
