A broken sprinkler head flooded a third-floor section of the Portsmouth Middle School Monday afternoon.
The Incident happened at about 4 p.m.
Firefighters were called to the scene and quickly brought the break under control.
Fire Capt. Todd Germain said the extent of the damage was immediately unclear. The break happened in an older section of the school, which has been renovated in recent months.
