City Woman Nabbed for Shoplifting

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log on Thursday, Sept. 12.

Thursday:

  • At 9:30 a.m., police reported disorderly conduct on Freedom Circle after a resident verbally threatened a woman who notified police.
  • At 10:23 a.m., police arrested a Portsmouth man on Market Square. Desmond Scott Earle, 48, of 600 Lafayette Road was charged with disorderly conduct and with obstructing government administration.
  • At 11:14 a.m., police reported a work place accident on Woodbury Avenue and assisted the Portsmouth Fire Department after an employee injured their leg while bringing a car into their shop.
  • At 11:34 a.m., police reported a dog bite on Lincoln Avenue.
  • At 2:52 p.m., police arrested a Somersworth woman and a Portsmouth woman after they were detained by Dover Police. Chelsea M. Glover, 20, of 289 Main St. , Apt. B in Somersworth was wanted on two Strafford County bench warrants. Ariel Trisha Robbins-Perkins, 21, of 73 Osprey Drive in Portsmouth was wanted on an arrest warrant.
  • At 4:44 p.m., police reported fraud at the Portsmouth Rotary Circle after a business turned in a $10 counterfeit bill.
  • At 6:04 p.m., police arrested a Portsmouth woman on Lafayette Road after she was detained at a store for shoplifting. Courtney Gutierrez, 34, of 55 Holiday Drive, Apt. D, was charged with wilful concealment.
