NH Fugitive Wanted on Drug Charges Captured in Florida

Keith Samson was arrested on Tuesday night in Interlachen, FL.

A fugitive from the Concord area was arrested on Tuesday night in northern Florida.

Keith Samson, 26, last known to be a transient in the Concord area, was tracked down and arrested by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force in Interlachen, FL.

The Merrimack County Sheriff's Office was actively seeking to locate and arrest Samson on two outstanding arrest warrants and had requested the assistance of the N.H. Joint Fugitive Task Force. Sampson was in violation of his conditions of probation for a prior conviction and sentence for drugs, and was also being sought on a new outstanding drug warrant.

Earlier this week, investigators in New Hampshire developed information that led them to a possible location of Samson at a  residence in Interlachen, FL. It was forwarded to the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force in Florida, who quickly acted on the information.

The information provided led investigators to the 100 block of Helmers Avenue in Interlachen, FL, where Samson was located and arrested without incident. He is being charged as a fugitive from justice in Florida and will be held at the Putnam County Jail pending his initial court appearance and eventual return to New Hampshire to face his two outstanding criminal matters.
