'Hometown Hottie' Model Busted for Heroin in Drug Sweep

Persephanie Lesperance was charged with conspiracy to sell heroin.

Persephanie Lesperance, a model from Portsmouth who appeared in Maxim, was one of eight people arrested in a Seacoast drug sweep Wednesday.

Lesperance, 24, of 220 Raleigh Way, was charged with conspiracy to sell heroin and possession of Suboxone. She was held on cash bail.

Her hometown is Hampton, according to an interview she did with New Hampshire Magazine. She told the magazine she was just getting started in modeling and in her spare time did charity work, including collecting dresses, shoes and accessories for young girls whose families were affected by Hurricane Sandy.

Lesperance was a runner-up in Maxim's 2013 "Hometown Hottie" competition.

Lesperance's competition  and video interviews stood out from some of her more glamor-focused challengers, as she showcased her looks while also explaining how she uses them to do positive things in life.

"I have a wicked soft spot for charities, whether I'm help raising [sic] the money or donating it out of pocket, I love to help out in any way I can," Lesperance in a video profile. "I think I'd make the perfect Maxim small-town 'hottie' because I’m a true small town girl just trying to make a difference."
