Convicted murderer Seth Mazzaglia facing life in prison without the possibility of parole at his sentencing Aug. 14, but prosecutors could be trying him on another charge of criminal solicitation this fall, according to WMUR.

Watch the report on WMUR-TV.

A jury in Strafford County Superior Court in Dover, N.H., found Mazzaglia guilty last month on all counts in the murder of University of New Hampshire freshman Elizabeth "Lizzi" Marriott on Oct. 9, 2012.

The criminal solicitation charge stems from a former cellmate's testimony at trial. The cellmate testified about Mazzaglia's plans to break out of jail and possibly harm witnesses, and how he sought his help in the scheme.
