Motorcyclist Clocked at 107 MPH on I-95 Charged

NH State Police said a police aircraft spotted the motorcyclist traveling at 107 mph and passing traffic on I-95 in Greenland.

A Hampton man was charged with reckless driving after a New Hampshire State Police airplane clocked him riding his motorcycle at 107 mph and passing traffic on Interstate 95 in Greenland.

Police said Scott Gardiner, 22, was stopped by Trooper Craig Gagne as part of the traffic enforcement detail July 9 at about 7:40 a.m. The motorcyclist was traveling south on the interstate, which is posted as a 65 mph speed limit.

He was arrested and charged with reckless driving, and he is scheduled to appear in Portsmouth District Court to answer to the charge on Sept. 8.
