Woman Says Someone Took Car for Joy Ride in Parking Garage

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Friday, Aug. 2 to Sunday, Aug. 4.

Friday:

  • At 12:55 a.m., police arrested a Biddeford, Maine woman for drunken driving on the Route One Bypass southbound and Borthwick Avenue. Suzanne Roy, 44, of 44 Westmore Ave., was charged with driving while intoxicated.
  • At 10:54 a.m., police arrested a Portsmouth man following a domestic incident on Weald Road. Christopher Rashawn Wilson, 21, was charged with criminal mischief (vandalism).
  • At 4:20 p.m., police reported a theft of an iPad from a vehicle on Denise Street.
  • At 11:44 p.m., police reported an emergency at Portsmouth International Airport after a single engine Cessna with three people on board landed safely after the nose gear collapsed.
Saturday:
  • At 2:59 a.m., police reported a prowler on Morning Street.
  • At 2:19 p.m., police reported a purse theft on Cate Street.
  • At 3:38 p.m., police arrested a Portsmouth man on Market Street and Daniel Street. Stephen Brian Morin, 46, of address unknown, was charged with disorderly conduct and criminal trespass.
  • At 4:46 p.m., police reported a skateboarding complaint on Woodbury Avenue after the caller said there were several skateboarders wearing masks who were skateboarding down Woodbury Avenue and Edmond Avenue. She said she almost hit one of them with her car.
  • At 11:28 p.m., police reported a prowler complaint on Nathaniel Drive.
  • At 11:43 p.m., police reported a simple assault on Market Street after the caller said he was hit in the head with a beer bottle.
Sunday:
  • At 1:29 a.m., police reported a theft at the High Hanover Parking Garage after the caller said someone took her car for a joy ride and parked it in a different place and took her registration.
