Police Need Help ID'ing Possible Car, Credit Card Thief

Portsmouth Police ask, do you know who this man is?

Investigators inside the Portsmouth Police Department are attempting to identify a man who was possibly involved in a motor vehicle theft in June.

According to a press release, the vehicle was stolen from a parking lot of the Jackson Gray building on Borthwick Avenue at around 7 a.m. on June 16. The victim’s credit card was also used at various locations in Methuen, and Lawrence, MA, according to investigators.

The vehicle was recovered in Lawrence, MA, according to the report.

Police have sent out these images of the man that were taken from surveillance cameras at the locations of the credit card usage, according to a report. In the footage, police allege that the man “could be seen exiting the stolen vehicle and using the victim’s credit card less than two hours after the theft.”
