Police Probe Lunch Line Cookie Theft

Portsmouth Police supplied the following arrest information.

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Tuesday, Nov. 20 through Wednesday, Nov. 21.

Wednesday:

  • At 7:50 a.m., police arrested at 16-year-old juvenile for truancy on Ledgewood Drive.
  • At 12:12 p.m., police reported a theft of a copper downspout on Chestnut Street.
  • At 4:09 p.m., police arrested a Dover man who was wanted as a fugitive from justice after he turned himself in at the police station. Adam Jean Andersen, 38, of 514 Lilac Lane in Dover was wanted on a bench warrant.
  • At 10:38 p.m., police arrested a Rochester woman who was wanted as a fugitive from justice after she was detained by Rochester Police. Vanessa Bentley, 33, of 10 Damours Ave., in Gonic (Rochester), was wanted for receiving stolen property.

  • At 9:42 a.m., police reported an unattended death on Ocean Road.
  • At 1:55 p.m., police reported a theft of a cookie from the lunch line at Portsmouth High School on Andrew Jarvis Drive.
  • At 3:22 p.m., police arrested a Portsmouth woman who was wanted as a fugitive from justice on Winsor Road. Patricia Jones, 41, of 5 Winsor Road in Portsmouth was wanted for disorderly conduct.
