Tips Stolen from Lexie's Joint Waitstaff
The money was reportedly stolen from the Islington Street burger joint on Saturday.
According to this post on the Lexie's Joint Facebook page, the tips were stolen on from the waitstaff of Lexie's Joint on Islington Street on Saturday.
Here's what Lexie's had to say:
"Seriously People?!?! It's the holidays and these girls work their butts off for tips to pay bills, support kids, buy holiday gifts, etc. Do you really have nothing better to do than steal other peoples money they worked hard for?"
The Facebook post prompted an outpouring of support, with more than 20 people posting comments.
"Awful!!! I'm so sorry!!" said one.
"That's ridiculous. People are horrible..." said another.
One person said if she lived closer, she'd stop by Lexie's to give the waitstaff a big tip.
