UNH Police Accuse Former Student of 'Peeping Tom' Bathroom Videos

Ex-student from China is to appear in court in Dover on March 31.

DURHAM -- University of New Hampshire police arrested a former student from China on March 28 on charges he broke into a dorm room and made "Peeping Tom" video recordings in women's bathrooms.

Kewei Chen, 18, was charged with burglary, attempted burglary, two counts of violation of privacy, and criminal trespass, UNH police said. He is being accused in a series of incidents in dorms over the past five weeks.

He was a student at the time, has surrendered his passport, and is being held on $15,000 cash bail pending court appearance in Dover Circuit Court on March 31, police said.
