Yu-Gi-Oh Card Thief Dealt Bad Hand

Carla Janvrin of Seabrook indicted for stealing 15 packs of trading cards at Walmart in Newington.

A Seabrook woman who tried to steal several packs of Yu-Gi-Oh trading cards at a Walmart in Newington will be headed for a possible jury trial after she was indicted by a Rockingham County Grand Jury this week.

Carla J. Janvrin, 37, of 15 Folly Mill Terrace in Seabrook, was indicted on a variety of counts stemming from incidents in Portsmouth on May 4, including: a Class B felony attempted theft by unauthorized taking charge for stealing 15 packages of Yu-Gi-Oh trading cards from the Portsmouth Wal-Mart by placing them in her purse and leaving the store; a Class A misdemeanor possession of marijuana charge; and a breach of bail conditions set on Feb. 2 in Hampton District Court.

An indictment is not an indication of guilt, but means there is enough evidence to warrant a trial in superior court.
