The dean of the University of New Hampshire's business school has been considering a run for Congress, according to WMUR's James Pindell.
Innis, a Republican from Portsmouth, would be running for Democrat Carol Shea-Porter's seat. Innis is gay and married.
He owns the Ale House Inn in Portsmouth.
Last year, Innis spoke out against a repeal of New Hampshire's same-sex marriage law.
