Portsmouth's Dan Innis Announces Finance Team

The Portsmouth resident is running for Congress in the 1st District.

Republican 1st District Congressional candidate Dan Innis announced the first 17 members of his Finance Steering Committee on Friday. This list includes numerous prominent Seacoast residents:

"As a first time candidate I am enthused that so many business and community leaders see the need for a new approach in Washington," Innis said in a statement. "My campaign is about innovative solutions and new ideas, and I welcome the financial and public support of these individuals."

"I am excited to be working with Dan on his campaign," said Tony Matos, owner of Altos Marketing in Bedford. "As a small business owner Dan understands how to get our economy growing again. In addition, Dan's work in education has benefitted thousands of young Granite Staters by preparing them for successful careers in the global marketplace."

Innis, of Portsmouth, is running against Frank Guinta in the Republican primary, with the winner going on to face U.S. Rep. Carol Shea-Porter (D-NH) in November's general election.
