Great Bay Watershed Symposium Friday

Southeast Watershed Alliance will hold the symposium at Great Bay Community College.

The Southeast Watershed Alliance will hold a symposium April 18 on watershed and hydrodynamic models of Great Bay.

The event is scheduled for 8 a.m. to noon in Room 125 at Great Bay Community College.

The Southeast Watershed Alliance, created by the Legislature in 2009, is dedicated to providing a framework for 42 communities in the watershed.

The agenda includes:

  • Ted Diers, of New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services, speaking about the Great Bay Non-Point Source Study, starting at 8:15 a.m.
  • The Oyster River Integrated Plan, at 8:45 a.m.
  • Water Integration for the Squamscot-Exeter, at 9:45 a.m.
  • Great Bay Hydrodynamic Model, with Tom Gallagher, at 10:15 a.m.
  • Discussion moderated by John Gilbert, former chairman of the NH Water Sustainability Commission, at 11:15 a.m.
