Obama the Killa

In a new book, two journalists claim that just last year President Obama bragged that he is "really good at killing people." The Nobel Committee must be prouder than ever of its choice for the 2009 Peace Prize.

No doubt these two men are just Obama-hating racists, but considering their credentials, they seem pretty solid. Even the Washington Post mentions the quote in its review of the book.

The context of Obama's boast is even more striking: he wasn't talking about his killing of Osama bin Laden — he was "meditating" on Drone strikes, says the Post. On his watch there have been at least 326 Drone strikes in Pakistan, 93 in Yemen, and "several" in Somalia. (Under George W. Bush, there was a total of just 52.)

"Under Obama U.S. drone operators began practicing 'signature strikes,' a tactic in which targets are chosen based on patterns of suspicious behavior and the identities of those to be killed aren't necessarily known. (The administration counts all 'military-age males' in a strike zone as combatants.)

"Furthermore, the disturbing trend of the 'double tap' — bombing the same place in quick succession and often hitting first responders — has become common practice."

Killing unidentified people for "suspicious behavior" is how Barry rolls. The "double tap" — condemned as a tool of terrorists when used by others — is just proof that he's "really good" at it.

Almost 60 percent of Pakistanis consider the United States to be an enemy, and the number one reason is our government's use of Drones. The US government has murdered 1,000 civilians in Pakistan alone using Drone strikes, and those who are not "exploded to pieces" live in constant terror.

Progressives howl when the police target African Americans, saying young minorities are being harassed for nothing more than Driving While Black or Shopping While Black. But in the Middle East, people are being incinerated for Gardening While Pak.

Nor will the president's "skills" be restricted to use on foreigners. Early this year the Department of Justice re-wrote the rules, making it easier for him to kill American citizens. Jameel Jaffer of the ACLU calls it "chilling", adding

"This power is going to be available to the next administration and the one after that, and it’s going to be available in every future conflict, not just the conflict against al-Qaeda."

Think of it as an easy way for presidents to get some street cred.

According to this Middle East expert and former head of the CIA's bin Laden unit, the Jihadist war against America will get nastier. More innocent Americans will die at the hands of foreign terrorists, many of whom believe they are avenging the deaths of their loved ones and the US government's use of terrorism against their people. They will pursue this goal by committing similar atrocities on US soil, or against Americans anywhere they can be found.

The president will bite his lip and talk about justice, while behind closed doors he brags about how good he is at killing people.

But let's be honest: the President hires his killing done. He doesn't have the courage to do the job himself; that responsibility is passed on to others. It's far easier to talk about killing than to do it.

This president is no smooth criminal; he's just a war criminal.
