Again With the H-Word?

That sure didn't take long: apparently now Vladimir Putin is like Hitler.

Halloween may be months away, but she of the broomstick-riding persuasion is already hard at work trying to frighten the B'Jesus out of us.

Speaking at a fundraiser in California, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton compared the Russian president's recent actions in Ukraine to Hitler's in the late 1930s.

"Now if this sounds familiar, it’s what Hitler did," she told her audience on Tuesday (and then back-peddled two days later).

Boo. Scary. 

The funny thing is — funny in a sad kind of way — the party her former boss has chosen to embrace in Ukraine has been described as "neo-Nazi". 

Oops.

And the really funny thing is, if Vlad was helping Barry drop bombs in Syria right now Hillary would be calling him a humanitarian.

And speaking of Syria: it took John Kerry what, about 3 1/2 seconds before Bashar al-Assad was called a modern day Hitler? 

Okay, not that fast; they had to finish dinner first. 

George Bush II compared Saddam Hussein to Hitler in the run up to war in '03 — just like Daddy in '90/'91. Neo-Con extraordinaire William Kristol made the Hitler comparison with Iranian president Hassan Rouhani just last fall.

Bush, Kristol, Kerry, Clinton. Birds of a feather...

The country most acting like a global bully these days is...the United States. Putin knows it, and that's why he told Barry to zip it.   

Experts on the region warned years ago that if the US continues to expand NATO eastward toward Russia — in the name of "our interests", of course — it would lead to rising tensions and possibly even a "new cold war".

Fortunately, the American people are finally growing weary of the War Party, which drags out the tired old Hitler analogy every time it wants to do some saber rattling.

The funny thing is — and I mean funny this time — Putin knows that two can play this game, and there's nothing we can do about it.

For years the war-mongers have been gloating that the US is the "sole superpower" — and treating the peoples of the world like toys on their own personal playground. Those folks are eating a little crow right now, and it couldn't happen to a more despicable group of people.
