Community Invited to Rotary's Turkey Dinner

The Portsmouth Rotary Club will hold its 40th annual Thanksgiving Day dinner at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church from 12 noon to 2 p.m.

Portsmouth residents are invited to enjoy a turkey dinner with all the fixings courtesy of the Portsmouth Rotary Club on Thanksgiving Day.

The 40th annual Portsmouth Rotary Club's Thanksgiving Day dinner will be held at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. and it is free and open to everyone in the city.

Transportation for those in need is available. In addition, a shuttle from the South Church will depart at 11:45am for the Greek Church. For those who would like to attend or who prefer deliveries of turkey dinners, they can call the “Turkey Hot Line” at the Seacoast YMCA at 603-431-2334.

The annual Thanksgiving Day dinner is sponsored by Portsmouth Regional Hospital.

In addition to the Portsmouth Rotary dinner, the Frank E. Booma Post 6 American Legion will serve a turkey dinner at 11 a.m. For deliveries call 436-7575 and leave your name, address and phone number.

The Portsmouth Loyal Order of the Moose and Women of the Moose, 1163 Sagamore Ave.. will serve a turkey dinner at 1 p.m. and reservations are recommended by calling 436-9627.
