Seacoast Flood Watch in Effect

The National Weather Service says wind gusts could be up to 50 mph.

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory until 8 p.m. April 15 and a flood watch that is in effect until 8 p.m. April 16 for coastal New Hampshire.

Strong coastal winds ahead of a cold front will deliver 20- to 30- mph winds, with gusts up to 50 mph, according to the National Weather Service. The wind advisory warns that tree limbs and utility wires could be downed. Seacoast Online reported that winds contributed to a tree falling on a house in North Hampton.

The flood watch was issued due to a forecast that calls for 1- to 2- inches of rainfall overnight, with local rivers running high for a couple of days.
