Shrek the Musical: Shrek the Musical opens at Prescott Park Arts Festival on Friday, June 27, at 8 p.m. The show also has performances June 28 at 1 p.m. and 8 p.m., and June 29 at 7 p.m. See Prescott Park's schedule for more show times.

Take a Historic Tour: Tour the historic landmark that is The Music Hall. The next Historic tour of the Historic Theater is Saturday, June 28, at 2 p.m.

Meet the Stoneface Team at WHYM: Stoneface Brewing Co. will have some team members at WHYM Craft Beer Cafe at 3548 Lafayette Road in Portsmouth on Friday, June 27. Stop by and say hello and try some great beer. (Stoneface Brewery in Newington is open Fridays 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturdays noon to 4 p.m.)

Play Ball: The Nashua Silver Knights return home for a game Saturday, June 28, at 7:05 p.m. Great sports entertainment that the whole family can afford.

Summer Beatdown at the Rock: Combat Zone Mixed Martial Arts returns to Rockingham Park in Salem this Friday, June 27. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the first bout is scheduled for 8 p.m.

Cherish Live Music: Playing The Press Room at 77 Daniel St. in Portsmouth this weekend: Hallelujah The Hills on Friday, Tontons on June 28, and Scott Mullett and Trent Austin Quintet on June 29 (9 p.m.)

Rí Rá Celebrates World Cup, Rock 'n' Roll: Jamsterdam plays Rí Rá in Portsmouth at 10 p.m. on Friday, June 27.

Drive-by Truckers with Deer Tick: Two amazing bands play the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom on Sunday, June 29, at 8 p.m. See the Casino Ballroom for ticket information and other shows on tap.
