Scott McPherson has been writing professionally for fifteen years. His political commentaries have appeared on the op-ed page of numerous newspapers across the country, including the Washington Times, the Milwaukee Times, the Philadelphia Tribune, the Lexington (KY) Herald-Leader, the Danbury News-Times, the Tallahassee Democrat, the Los Angeles Daily News, the Tulsa World, the New Hampshire Union Leader, the Nashua Telegraph, and the Portsmouth Herald; CNSNews.com, LewRockwell.com, and Antiwar.com; and in political journals such as Ideas on Liberty (published by the Foundation for Economic Education in Irvington-on-Hudson, NY), Freedom Daily (now Future of Freedom, published by the Future of Freedom Foundation in Fairfax, VA), Perspective (published by the Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs), and Liberty Magazine. An occasional dabbler in verse, his poems appear from time to time in the Random Acts of Poetry section of the Portsmouth Herald, and his poem Beer, In Four Parts appeared in the March/April 2013 issue of Zymurgy Magazine (published by the American Homebrewers Association); he is a member of the Poetry Society of New Hampshire. Scott also writes short stories, and hopes to have one published soon. Scott loves baseball (Go Seadogs! Go Red Sox!), reading, and live music. He lives in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and thinks it is the greatest city on earth.
