Motorcyclist Dies in Portsmouth Crash
A man from Epping crashed on Route 16 near the Portsmouth traffic circle.
A motorcyclist died after a crash in Portsmouth Friday night.
Anthony Facella, 51, of Epping crashed his Harley-Davidson on Route 16 northbound near the Portsmouth traffic circle at about 5 p.m., according to State Police. Facella was transported to Portsmouth Regional Hospital, but he died before arrival, police said.
Police said Facella had just turned on Route 16 when he lost control and struck a guardrail. The bike then slid along the breakdown lane before coming to rest, police said.

Police said they are still investigating how Facella lost control of the bike.
