Dover's Barley Pub, a staple on the Seacoast bar scene, is closing.
Owner Scott Mason made the announcement on the bar's Facebook page.
Mason last year moved his bar into a bigger space.
"(It) gives me great pain to inform you all of the Barley Pub's closing ... for good," Mason wrote. "The circumstances of our move and the economy have proved too great a burden."
