A new restaurant is in the works downtown.
Budha O will be an Asian restaurant and lounge at 121 Congress St. in the former Portsmouth Baking Company space. The new restaurant will have a sushi bar and mezzanine dining, according to a building permit.
The new owners are in the process of doing a $250,000 renovation to the space, according to the permit.
The Portsmouth Baking Company closed in late 2011.
