Man Gives Portsmouth Waitress $500 Tip to Honor Late Brother

Seth Collins left a Portsmouth Gas Light waitress speechless.

PORTSMOUTH, N.H.—A Portsmouth waitress this week got a $500 tip from a Kentucky man who's honoring his late brother by giving huge tips to wait staff across the country.

On Wednesday, Seth Collins gave the tip—on top of a $6 bill—to Portsmouth Gas Light waitress Taylor Dube.

"Oh my god," she said. "Thank you so much."

Collins' brother, Aaron, died in 2012. His last wish was to give a $500 tip to a waiter or waitress. Seth Collins raised more than $50,000 and has been traveling the country fulfilling his brother's wish.

"I'm going around doing this for my brother," Seth said. "He asked that we go out to dinner and leave someone an awesome tip."

Dube was the 83rd person Collins has tipped in the last year.
